New Paid Emergency Leaves for COVID-19 Related Situations

Last week, Congress passed the final version of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFRCA), which created two new forms of leave based on conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic: (1) Emergency Paid Sick Leave (EPSL) and (2) leave under the Emergency Family Medical Leave Expansion Act (EFMLEA) (sometimes also called Public Health Emergency Leave (PHEL)).
